We are making these shirts in order to raise money to offset the increasing costs of the cabin. If you are interested to have yours, let us know model and sizes, this information is needed by March 23rd. Payment methods: by e-transfer (email swissoutdoorsevents@gmail.com) or cheque to Swiss Outdoors Club sent to our regular address: PO Box 32021 Walnut Grove, Langley BC. V1M 2M3.

They can be picked up at the events we have planned or to your address with an extra charge (according to quantity and Postal Code).

Prices: Adults (men or ladies) $20.00 (sizes XS, S, M, L, XL)
           Children (size 4 to 14)  $15.00

2018 AGM of the SSV – March 12, 2018

The AGM of the Swiss Society of Vancouver takes place on Monday, March 12, at 7:00 PM at the Edmonds Community Center, located at 7433 Edmonds Street in Burnaby.

You will hear how our year has been and what we are planning for this coming year.

We will introduce our NEW executive board members, that have an amazing 2018 activities planned for every member. We have a surprise waiting for special members.

If you are not a member yet, you can join us now, know the benefits of your membership, such as special events and ski cabin rental at Mt Baker WA.

Refreshments: Coffee, tea, and sandwiches will be served.

We would appreciate if participants would bring some your favorite cake or cookies for all to enjoy.

Waldweihnacht

The Swiss Outdoors Club invites you to Waldweihnacht!

Date:        December 17, 2017 at 6:00 pm
Location:  Mount Seymour Road at last sharp left turn before the ski hill parking lot (Swiss flag will be at roadside), turn left into parking lot of Seymour group campsite.

At 6 pm we will proceed to the forest clearing and have a good old fashion Christmas sing-along by the Christmas tree with real candles.

We will continue along the trail to a cabin in the woods and warm up by a roaring wood fireplace sit around tables covered with goodies. Glühwein, hot chocolate will be served.

If all children are good, Santa will make an appearance

Important: Please come well dressed for cold winter conditions. Snow boots, warms clothes and walking sticks, as well as rain gear, may be needed. Bring flashlights or headlamps to find your way.

The Vancouver Swiss Choir presents our annual Christmas Concert.

Vancouver Dorfmusik

Dear Music Enthusiasts

The Vancouver Dorfmusik will be the special guest at the Richmond Community Band’s Annual Winter Concert at the Gateway Theatre in Richmond on Friday Nov. 17, 8 pm.

The address of the Gateway Theatre is 6500 Richmond Road.

Ticket prices are $17 for Seniors and $ 20 for adults.
