New date for Poker Car Rally

NEW DATE!!

Date: Saturday, September 29th, 2018

Starting time: 9:00 am
Meeting point: North Vancouver
Minimum of 12 cars required to run the rally.

We are bringing back the Car Rally from the 80’s!
Enjoy last days of the kid’s summer vacations and go for a drive.

This is a family-oriented event. There will be several stops (some of them are Swiss owned businesses)

  • Vancouver 
  • Burnaby
  • Coquitlam
  • Mission
  • Harrison Hot Springs

At each stop, you will receive a card for poker.
We also have a quiz for kids and the answers will be found at each stop.

At the end of the day, we will gather together for dinner and give away prizes!

All participants confirmed will receive detailed information about the event.

Family oriented, several stops (Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Mission, Harrison Hot Springs) where you will receive a card for poker and the chance for kids to answer a Quiz, at the end of the day we will meet at a restaurant for dinner and give away prizes!

2018 Swiss National Day Celebrations

The Swiss Society of Vancouver and its Clubs and Choir, the Swiss Mountain Range Association, Swiss Consulate in Vancouver and Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce invite everyone to our celebration Swiss National Day.

The 2018 Swiss National Day celebrations (“August 1st”) will be held on Saturday, July 28, at the Mountain Range Chalet at 4141 Quarry Road in Coquitlam. The gates will open at 1 pm. Entrance is $10 per person, everybody under 18 is free.

There will be activities for the kids, live performances by the Vancouver Swiss Choir and S-Bahn, and of course there will be the BBQ with Bratwurst and other yummy food. The singing of the Anthem and a Lampionumzug for the little ones will of course not be missing.
